Dear Parents, Parishioners, and Friends of SJA:
Are you interested in earning a 40% Louisiana income tax credit while assisting our school with classroom computer needs? A very generous St. Joan of Arc parishioner has offered to match your contribution of new computer equipment to our school, dollar for dollar, up to a maximum of $10,000. This income tax credit is applicable to fiduciary, individual, and/or corporate state income tax and can be referenced at R.S. 47:37 and 47:287.755.
In order to take advantage of the 40% income tax credit, we are asking for a minimum donation of $500. With your donation, Mrs. Michelle Montz, our Computer Science Coordinator, will utilize our education discounts to purchase equipment that is compatible with our current technology. We will also provide you with the certification of donation required by the State of Louisiana.
I f you are interested in donating but cannot give the minimum amount requested, or if you are not interested in the 40% income tax credit incentive, feel free to donate any dollar amount and you will receive the normal tax deduction allowed for donations to a non-profit organization.
