Today we celebrate the feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph! How does your family spend quality time together? Today, consider spending some special time in prayer with and for your family whether you are close together or apart.

Feast of Mary, Mother of God - January 1, 2021

Today is the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God, a Holy Day of Obligation in celebration of Mary’s motherhood of Jesus.  The title “Mother of God” is a western derivation from the Greek Theotokos, which means “God-bearer”.  On this day, we are reminded of the role that the Blessed Virgin played in the plan of our salvation through her fiat, her yes to God's will. How will you open yourself to God's will in this new year?
