After leading the legislative efforts of the Catholic Church in Louisiana for nearly 10 years, Louisiana Conference of Catholic Bishops Executive Director Rob Tasman has announced his departure from the organization to become the new Vice President of Mission Integration at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
“Rob has been very valuable to LCCB and I will miss him greatly,” said Archbishop Gregory Aymond. “Nevertheless, I understand that this is a promotion for him and his family. He has served over 10 years with LCCB and has the great respect of not only the Catholic bishops and clergy of Louisiana but also the Governor and many in the Louisiana Legislature.”
Tasman will begin his new role in late February and will continue to work with the LCCB during the transition. A search for a new Executive Director of the Louisiana Conference of Catholic Bishops has begun. Those interested may visit
